A new book by author and opera singer Cello Bennett, Light, Art and Love explores her improbable yet joyous marriage to artist Gale Bennett. Set in Giverny, France, the romantic village where artist Claude Monet spent the last 40 years of his life, Cello Bennett details the frisson and passion inspired by their diametrically opposite personalities, and the unity, art and contentment found in their years together in la belle France.
Meet Cello Bennett
Author Cello Bennett is a former opera singer, language instructor, and translator, who speaks French, German, and Italian. Cello’s previous book, “Eyes into Art” (2014), is scheduled for release in a 2nd edition later this year. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, Cello lived in Europe for over 30 years. She and her husband now reside in Babcock Ranch, Florida.
